Richard Prager
Fishincomfort on e-bay is the only one that carries the 110 and 130's at this time. He also supplies stamina. Not cheap but high quality blanks.
powerworm
yes those are nice but have the cloudy plastic not clear like the real baits? i wonder why alot of the KO'S are like that? is it from recycled plastic that its not perfectly clear like the originals? im guessing here if anyone knows??? Chaos For 2011
They're not cloudy when you clear coat them. They work extremely well.
Richard Prager
Jon is a hard one to please
powerworm
just looking for a clearer bait when finished like the KO's that come from overseas are really clear like the original baits is all. the holographic foil shows better with a clear background like the original 110's were is all
mark poulson
Try dipping them in acetone for just a second before you foil them. That should clear up the cloudy look.
Richard Prager
Funny because what Jon refers to as "cloudy" seem to be a common thing with the better quality KO's. I don't know what makes them that way but those baits never have any seam lines to sand, dents or other defects. They are excellent castings that don't need any prep work other that a couple of swipes with sone fine steel wool. They fish well and track true. Mark, I tried your acetone prep several months ago, It works fine except I can't be around those fumes or odors
powerworm
i bought 25 KO's from japan they were 130's and they were clear and foiled super nice just was used to seeing that here stateside; but if that acetone trick works i could possibly change my tune!!
