BurrowsLakeLC
Trying to get into the pouring business. To experiment a bit, I bought a senko type worm mold, injector, plastisol, a few colors, and glitters from jannsnetcraft.com. I have heard mixed reviews about this site, and want to hear from the veterans and pros. Did I make a good or bad choice? Who should I be buying from? All tips/comments/suggestions are appreciated and NEEDED! Don't want to waste money and make bad choices.
Frank
Welcome. This can be very rewarding but it is alot of hard work. To answer the question of bad choice no, it is a start and you will see as you order more that there is alot of good companys out there with great service. We all have opinions and they are just that. I dont really have a do it all place to buy all the things I need to make this work for me. I buy from pretty much all of them. Good luck Frank
BurrowsLakeLC
thanks! also, poured our first baits today and yesterday, and had major air bubble problems. Every worm I poured had atlleast 1 airbubble. How do I fix this problem?
Romeo D
A little more info is needed. Are you having an air bubble in the center at the top of the bait where it is filled? If so, keeping the top filled with plastic helps to avoid this issue. When the plastic cools, it shrinks a bit and draws plastic from the "sprue" area. When it does not have any melted plastic to draw from, air is sucked down and causes this type of "bubble"
