slinky5
This is my first visit to this site and I'm already a member! I fish the Niagara River mostly from shore but do ocassionally get out with a few buddies for some good times. These guys also fish for muskies and got me into trying to make a few of my own from scrap wood. I've yet to test them but hope to do so soon and post pics as well Later Slinky

slinky5
This is my 1st bait. Its a 9" bait made from oak taken from a 100 year old piano my parents were dismantling. It took about 2oz. of lead to make it sit right in the tub. I hope to get out this weekend to test it. I found some Timiya acrylics from a local hobby store that work great for airbrushing, and the wife had some tule lying around the house that worked great for the scale pattern. Big Splash
As everyone on this site knows, I stress the importance of well seasoned wood for carving lures -100 years should dry it out! Goog looking lure!
