birdley123
Hey guys I have a strange question; I've been using my fluid bed to paint some jigs and I'm noticing that when I use my Green Pumpkin PP, it just lays there, when the air is running through it? All the other colors do fine, watermelon, black, brown, blue, but GP just sits in the pot and has three or four little holes in it that air shoots out of. If I tap it, it gets going, but then settles back down... Is the paint too dense? Not enough air? Thanks, B
smalljaw
I've noticed that with certain colors and sometime adjusting the air flow works and sometimes it doesn't. For the times it doesn't I use a small shim and put it under one side of the fluid bed so it sits tilted and not level then when I go to dip the jig I give it a little shake and dip, and for me it works. Some might have better help for you but for me just shaking it a little works fine and being on a slight tilt allows me to dip while the paint is still fluid after I move it. Clint M
I have problems with mine either overcoating or undercoating in some areas? Any advice?
Jig Man
I use 3 materials for filters: paper sacks, coffee filters, vacuum cleaner filters. Some of them work better than others on different colors. Experiment with filters and see if that helps.
