Boss Skirt Rings

Recommended Posts

Has any one ever yet used the "FishingSkirts.com's" Boss skirt rings or the Flair rings??

I need some skirting material and rings'bands for skirts. REALLY like the chartruese bands from Janns and Barlows but DO NOT like the black or white ones as they break in the band expander tool that my friend Cadman and others suggested that I get. LOVE that tool but it really stretches the bands.

Thanks

The black bands work the best for me and they rarely break. The amber ones are more flexable but rot very easy compared to the black ones. As for the fishing skirts ones I do know the red bands will bleed on the skirt. I haven't had any break but I have not used them a lot as I wire tie most of my baits anyway.

The ones that break on me are the mickey mouse ears, the ones they use so you can add rattles. As for the black ones, I use those the most out of 3 and they are black, chartreuse, and white and I get them from Lure parts online. BOSS has a lot of nice stuff and as soon as need more supplies I'm going to get some of their lure eyes and the flair bands, as farr as the skirt rings, I'm not sure how they would work, they look like an o ring and the description says they are used to give the skirt a hand tied look but I'm not sure abvout that. If you want good skirt collars go to LPO and if you order the BOSS flair bands or skirt rings let us know how they work and if they are any good.

Ok, Thanks for the opinions. For flaring a skirt I use the "umbrellas" and am VERY PLEASED with them. It's primary the WHITE bands that break for me. The chartruese are some how made with two layers of material which I think makes them stronger.

I'll get some of the BOSS bands and let you all know.
