psilvers
I have used powder water and it sprays the Columbia powder paints without a problem. The key is that I use a Paasche airbrush with the largest tip/needle combination. I forget the size, but I can get it for you. I also only use Columbia powder paint with the airbrush and powder water - I think there is a compatibility problem between the CSI paint and the Columbia powder water. Finally - and this is also VERY important - I mix the powder water and powder paint 50/50 and mix it VERY WELL with a hand held latte mixer. The mixers work off a single AA battery and they really help suspend the powder in the powder water. That being said, I have gone from aibrushing powder to applying my base coat with a fluid bed and then spraying an acrylic for any other detail work.
