Yardape
Besides hardener how can you make your plastic firmer? Will adding salt firm it up?
toadfrog
I did an experiment some time back with powder paint as a color pigment . The bait was tough . not as shiny . Might try clear . see what you get .
Smallie
Yes, Salt will stiffen the bait.
t-billy
Salt will stiffen the bait, but it won't make it more durable like hardner does.
Yardape
I have a flapping craw trailer mold that when on the back of a jig and swam through the water the arms will fold back too far causing the arms to become entangled. I need to firm up the plastisol to gain a little separation between the arms, thanks guys for the replies
alsworms
Also remember that the arms will sink when adding salt to them. Now that I think about it, that might not be a bad idea!
