Gloomisman
How many of you guys have used this product? Is MF the only company that makes it? Its the only one I can find. Is it worth it for not dealing with as much salt in a sinko? Do you have any clue of the sink rate of just sinking plastic to a yamamoto senko? Thanks for the help. bass100
MF is the only one that I know of. I have been using it for a couple years now. I add 1/2 cup of salt per 2 cups of plastic and my senkos weigh 180.8 grains and yamamoto senko weighs 169.9 grains. I had an issue with bubbling and I finally got that solved by adding salt to the uncooked plastic and allowing it to sit for a couple of minutes. This allows time for any air in the salt to escape. If you are doing small batches this may not be a problem. This is a thicker plastic so if you use it in a presto pot make sure your motor is 25 rpms or slower or it will add alot of bubbles. It also has a sticky finish to the baits. Once you get the process down for this plastic it is a great product.

Less salt means a more translucent stick with richer colors. Great stuff!
Gloomisman
Thanks guys!! I think its worth a shot! Does it inject well?
Richard Prager
For the sticks I used Bears Presto w/stirrer. For unsalted jerkbaits I injected. I would imagine it would inject ok especially since you are using about 30% less salt.
EvinrudeAggie
I just got 5 gallons of MF medium sinking plastic for xmas and poured some swimbaits with it today. It pours very well, not very much smoking, doesn't discolor, and no problems with bubbles. Haven't thrown the bait yet but so far I am impressed.
