Painter1
Who do you think make the most realistic crawdad mold? Something akin to the the Huddlebug in 2" to 5"? I don't see the color in shelf baits that really "match the hatch" for the crawdads I see on upper Tablerock. They change color through the season and I would love to try to match some of them in an ultra-realistic bait. At the very least it will keep me busy this winter Thank you for all of the help provided on this forum. .
patrick reif
Personally, I don't think the ultra realistic baits preform as well as traditional chunks for a J-N-P, or a tube, but there are several out there from Basstackle, Bears, and Dels. My two favorite chunks; http://www.basstackle.com/product_p/crawtrailer4cavity.htm ,and http://www.bearsbaits.com/KODIAK-CRAW-2-TRAILER-175_p_284.html here's a real craw form. Basstackle has something similar. In both cases, I'd tear off the legs, and thread a contrasting color silicone skirting material in it's place(brown craw, orange legs...black craw, blue legs, ect. Bass ain't that smart though...neither am I. http://www.bearsbaits.com/35-REAL-CRAW_p_310.html

TBaits
http://www.basstackl...5_p/701-1-1.htm ....Bill That's pretty realistic. I have always killed them on Larew's Salt Craw.
