AustinTXAngler
Hello all, I'm very new to pouring my own plastics. I still need to make my first order of supplies. I've been tossing the idea around of pouring my own lizards to start out, but wanted a high quality mold, hoping it would cut down on my frustrations. Does anyone know where I can find an aluminum lizard mold similar to the 6" zoom lizard? I've looked around both Bob's tackle shack and Del-Mart and didnt see any off-the-shef lizard molds. Is there a reason for this? Are lizards difficult to pour? I would assume so, because of all the small legs and tails, but practice makes perfect, right? Thanks,
siebler_custom_baits
lizards are not the easiest to pour at first. there are a lot of curly tail things that take practice to get right. however, lizards are great practice for curl tails and other worms. Tubeman
I think Bob's Tackle Shack carries a 4" lizard, email him and he will let you know if there is a 6"
AustinTXAngler
I think I'll hold off on the lizard until I have more pouring experience. Thanks for the help.
