Getting Started

Recommended Posts

You will need a way to heat the plastisol (hot plate or dedicated microwave). You need dedicated pans or pyrex containers in which to melt the plastisol. You shouldn't do this in the house unless you live alone.

You need some good gloves to handle things as you will be working with plastisol that is normally 350-375°F.

If I were you I'd go to the top and read about don'ts for newbies. Then I'd do a bit of other research to get some questions answered. Then I'd do a 4 oz melt and experiment with making some baits. After you make a few you will have tons of questions.

Be careful and have fun. BTW You may have to get a second job to support your new habit.
