psilvers
I am looking for a good source for high quality ball bearing swivels in bulk, I have been using some from Cabela's (their Premium line) but these are about $0.75 a piece. Anyone have a source for BB swivels of that quality in bulk? Thanks, Pete
FuzzyGrub
Look at Worth, but their quantities may be more than what you are thinking of for bulk.
smalljaw
Worth sells direct by the thousand. They are the best quality ball bearing swivels I ever used, side by side with sampo you wouldn't be able to see any difference in performance. Richard Prager
There are several people that buy from Worth, break up into smaller quantities and sell on e-bay. Blades, bearings, etc are all available there. I found this to be the best source for 100 cts.
psilvers
Thanks. I looked at Worth and they are of interest. I will check out the E-Bay sellers. Do they specify that they are Worth swivels? Out of curiosity, does anyone know where these swivels are made? Pete
JSC
I belive that you will find that both Worth & ROSCO are made in the USA

Most import swivels I've used fail, in fact every import swivel I ever used failed or just wasn't good. LPO sells them by the 100 count with split rings cheaper than most, it used to be 50 bucks for 100, pretty expensive but considering Sampos cost over a buck each with no quantity discount this is good. If you go to Worth and get the 1000 swivels, and 2000 split rings seperately, it is around 300 dollars, that is the best way to go unless you don't need that many. What I do is try to find someone who wants to in half and doesn't mind putting the rings on, and BTW, they make a light ring for their swivels that is easy to get on so it isn't that big of a deal. psilvers
Thanks! I have used the Cabela's Premium swivels and they are good - they are made in Japan. The Cabela's Deluxe swivels are not great - they are made in China. It is ironic - I would not mind paying MORE for something made in the USA, but the Worth are actually a bit cheaper than the Cabela's Premium! Thanks for the great info!
