Domenigoni
Any advice on painting these .031 to .050 wire baits used on A-Rigs? I really don't like the amount of silver moving through the water. Looking for something that I can paint and maybe able to hold up to a little abuse. Thanks in advance. smalljaw
Don't use paint, use a dye like Lake Hawk lure and blade dip or Spike it lure dip, not the stuff for soft plastics but for metal baits, I believe they call theirs blade dip also. Well whatever they call it try that, because it goes a lot further than paint and paint will wear off plus it will add more weight to the rig, a lot more than dye. They you dye the wire is by applying it with a Q-Tip, dip the Q-Tip in the dye and then apply to the wire, that simple.
