veirup
Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I've made a musky surface lure that glows in the dark, with a light source inserted into the lure body. Is this legal? I can't find any info on this and I also haven't seen any lures like this for sale. Any Thoughts. Thanks V
Fishsticks
Recently seen posts of lures painted with glow in the dark paint. I would think that is the same type of lure. Never heard of an illegal lure besides a stick of dynamite. What kind of light source are you using? Sounds interesting.
nova
Be careful. Where I am you can use glow in the dark lures but you can't use lighted lures. Big fines if you're caught. Check with DNR in your area for the final word. Don't take a chance. www.novalures.com

You'd think that they'd lay off you if you went through all the trouble to figure out something like that, just as a courtesy. I know they sell lures that light up commercially, and I had never worried about it being illegal. Thanks for the heads up.
Sonny.Barile
I remember seeing Ike on a commercial for a lure with led lit eyes. Not sure if it is illegal for tourney's........
