Honestly, unless you plan on using if for professional use, the version doesn't really matter. I also will need to recommend a book I have. I think its called Photoshop WoW. It is at my parents house, next time I am there I will check. It is a really good user guide for doing a lot of neat effects in Photoshop. I no longer have access to Photo Shop, so if anyone out there is like me and on a budget, I have been using Gimp instead. Its a freeware, an a pretty powerful. Vodkaman Posted January 31, 2012 Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 I'm still using PS version 7, which is ancient. Like Sammy said, you do not need the latest and greatest.
