jeffhill
1 smidgen (1/32 t.) of violet hi-lite in 4 oz. will get you the iridescent purple. Then try maybe a drop or two of white or pearl powder for the rest. Hope this helps, Jeff
Painter1
Please forgive the Newbie questions. Is Violet hi-lite different than Violet colorant? Is the white "powder" you are talking about the powder paint used for jig heads or some kind of powdered pigment? Thanks

MonteSS
Pearl white powder will change the color of the plastic. In this case turn the clear plastic a white pearl (metallic/shimmer) color. Violet Hilite powder will tint the outside of the plastic with a purple sheen that changes in the light. ...Bill Where in Virginia are you? I am in central near Charlottesville.
