deadlystreamer
I think it would be interesting to share the different kinds of fishing sites we all get tangled up with. TU is a good and interesting site for the bait makers; We cover just about everything here for fresh water and salt water. We even touch on some fly fishing with fly's and jigs and streamers. It's enough to keep a person pretty busy just keeping up with everything TU offers. BUT! If your like me, I still travel around the net and get involved in a few other sites. I'm a life member of The North American Fisherman; site is www.fishingclub.com That is a real busy site and full of everything. I like to roam around that site. Another one is www.bigfishtackle.com A real nice place to check out the forum's and if you want to build a web site of your own, you can't beat it. I put one together just last week as just another site. It's http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/qutc9915 It's easy and fun to play with and FREE. www.mudhole.com, www.catcherman.com, There are countless sites to play with. You all have seen Chip on here pushing his lures & site; He has offered much to our site in the way of tutorials. He has a site much like TU and I am also on that site as "troutdynamite" There seems to be much chris crossing between the two sites. That's great because we all can benfet from all the information we all have to offer. That's what it's all about. You will find some of our members on the Carolina Chips Fine Lures site, http://www.xsorbit6.com/users/carolinachip/index.cgi just like you will find many of our members on the old www.tacklemaking.com site. There are sites some of us never heard of before. Pass them on so we can all enjoy and learn from one another. Have fun and don't get lost!! Markell
Here are a couple sites I visit daily: BBC: http://pub165.ezboard.com/bbbcboard (Scroll down to the modifying lures board) Bass Fishing Home Page: http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/index.html (Very entertaining board. Hostile at times. There is also a lure making board here but not very active.)

deadlystreamer
Ya, Know what you mean about Tacklemaking. I go there once a month just to see if it's still there. I spend most of my roaming time at Chips site and a new one I hit last night that Nathan told us about. www.tackletour.com is a pretty nice site. There are a lot of them and it's enjoyable to jump around and learn from them all. Thanks for posting where you travel too. It's interesting. Keep them coming. MarshManiaC
Besides checking this great site daily for my doses of luremaking knowledge, I haunt the forums on www.rodnreel.com, the BPS forums, www.thehulltruth.com and board at www.louisianasportsman.com. I enjoy doing this so much I am creating my own site, www.huntnfish.com and not to get too much into advertising it, I welcome anyone who wants to come and hang out and give thier views. One of forums I will have is on lures, I won't get into lure-making as this site is great and if competition is not needed, why do it? I invite any luremakers to come in and give advise and maybe get a few ideas from the "Joe Fisherfolks" that will be members. We'll also have hosting and opportunities to sell lures, through OEM first and eventually to have an "online mall" catering to the sportspeeps. I should be going hot 1 May.....did I advertise too much?

basskat
I visit this site every day as well. I don't always post. I also pop in once a week or so and check out Chip's site along with Tacklemaking. This and the Mississippi Wildlife fourm are the only two I check every day. bombadier
www.Catcherman.com is a great site for fishing and the mods do an excellent job of keeping attitiudes out. They just switched software for the boards and improved the speed of it. Good Stuff. Of course I also like this site, www.tackleunderground.com, for amazing ideas of how tackle should be made. Chips site was good when he had the tutorials but since he's taken them down I haven't been back, but he still has skills that I can only dream of. www.Stripersonline.com is another great site for those who like to get Salty and also rinse off a bit in the Sweetwater.
