Markell
Where can I find Gamakatsu 60 degree Heavy wire jig hooks per 1000? I have heard that eBay is a good place to look. When I do find them about how much would I expect to spend?
nova
You might find them at Hagen's.com
Markell
Thanks, but Hagen's did not have a price per 1000. I may give them a call.

deadlystreamer
Hello Markell, I'm looking at Stamina quality components catalog and on page62 is the Gamakatsu#291 60 jig hooks and #111 90 finesse jig hook and a #614 lite wire hook. They come in the 100 count box. Will that help you out any? Check www.staminainc.com public notice spot If anyone needs an extra e-mail, accidentally I found while looking for Stamina I found www.stamina.com that is a web based e-mail. It's pretty nice to use as a junk email catcher while submitting a web site. Check it out.
Markell
I have been buying the 100 count from Stamina. I am trying to lower my cost without changing brands. I may switch to the Mustad Ultra Point hook. The price per 1000 is about what I am looking for. Thanks for the info.
Celticav
I do not think that gamie sells theirs by the 1000 pack, basically you would be buying 10- 100 packs, check the cheapest you can get them and if you can save a dollar or three on an autction then go for it, JIM
Markell
Thanks for the help guys. Hey dlaery, have you dealt with Shorty's before? Do you know if they have a website? Thanks again.
dlaery
Yes, I've dealt with Shorty's for about 10 years. Just talk to Harry. He just deals with hooks only. they don't have a website. They sell to dealers and lure builders. They only sell in 1000's. I make some lures with the Mustad 32786 BLN (Black Nickel) jig hook with a 60 degree bend, in 1/0 thru 6/0 for salt water. I am very impressed with this hook. Very sharp and strong.
