Markell
For those of you who air brush sinnerbaits and jigs, would you say that it is a quicker process than powder paint? Assuming solid colors and taking into account the curing time for the powder paint? I sometimes use Devcon on my powder painted heads so the top coat is a non issue here. Richoc
I have been air brushing jigs and such for 20 years and I can put a coat (1 layer) on 50 jigs in less than 1 min. Many light coats to build a finish. Air brushing is easy. putting them in racks is the hard part. Oh .....yea my jig eyes are never filled with paint. dtrs5kprs
A'brush is WAY faster than powder, but not as durable, and also requires a clearcoat and more cleanup time. It's really kind of a push. Go with what suits you best. I have mostly given up a'brushing jigs because the powder paint is so durable. For spinnerbaits I prefer to shoot paint, but have also mostly switched to powder, for the reasons listed above.
