Im using EX-74 as a clear coat. BobP Posted January 16, 2012 Report Share Posted January 16, 2012 Googling "EX-74", it appears to be a decoupage/bar top epoxy similar to Envirotex Lite. If so, it think the best solution is to use multiple coats of the clearcoat to build up a topcoat that will be harder to penetrate. castncall Posted January 30, 2013 Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 I had the same problem and it still comes and goes, if I get in a hurry and dont dry over night before painting I think it gets water trapped unde and the clear coat draws it out making it look like it peels.
