chewy
My current plastisol is yellowing and may need some stabilization, any help? The current stab with the plastic I use is not working to good enough to my taste. I contacted the manufacturer / supplier and said that's all I have.

carolinamike
Chewy, the only ones I can speak for is Lurecraft and Lureworks, both are good heat stabilizers. I also just posted yesterday in the thread Plastisol Pricing about some other things that cause yellowing. Also if it's white that's yellowing a little UV brightener can help this also. Chewy nobody on here minds giving you advice and helping you and everyone here would more than glad to do what they can to help you work through any problems you're having, but these unnecessary comments just to stir things up, man could you not just give it a break? You were a member when it all happened and you know that Ghost left on his own accord. No one can run you off. Only the moderators can ban you and he wasn't banned. There's several hand pourers on TU that do just as good work as Ghost and also have the experience. You also know which forum Ghost is active on now, do you make comments like this on that forum? Please man could you just try to keep the peace. You've not been a member that long, you'll find this is a great community, if you'll give us half a chance. chewy
Thanks for your help mike but I have talked this way all my life and not changing for you. Maybe you are just taking it wrong? Guess you folks don’t have a dull/smartass sense of humor in the Carolinas? To me I really don’t get much from reading your long drawn out topics so I will try to talk up to your standards. Freedom of speech is what America is about period and if you see my nick name just don’t read it and move on. Thanks again for pointing me out and no I don’t post on their forum and don’t really care for the cc lingo. But you were dead on that it was in the white, pearl family color I was having problem with.

Mike Oh and thats why I didn't ask in the pricing thread because it did not have anything to do with cost, it had to do with yellowing.
chewy
Mike I looked for a delete profile section and could not find it. Will you please delete my profile so there is no unsatisfactory posting?
SHK
you cant be a part of anything on this forum without starting something or stirring the pot can you? your attitude definatly drags the spirit of this forum and why it was started down.
carolinamike
Freedom of speech is what America is about period and if you see my nick name just don’t read it and move on. Did you really put all of this in the same sentence? Kind of self contradicting ain't it? To me I really don’t get much from reading your long drawn out topics so I will try to talk up to your standards. There again why don't you exercise your freedom of speech and by the way I've received several notifications, some that are from members that aren't even active on the soft plastic forum that appreciate my posts. Chewy you've only been a member on this website for around 9 months, you've got 49 posts on your profile, you would have had 51 that I know of but 2 of them were useless and were deleted. One of them was a second post on this thread. I think the reason you don't care for the lingo on the other forum is because they're not allowing this kind of bull to go on on their site. Instead they're directing all of it to this one and it's beginning to be real obvious. Just by you mentioning a former member's name, tells of your intentions. Out of all of your posts 1 is a joke about worm oil and vasoline, which I did find humorous, and couldn't help but notice the lack of the smarta** comments. You made another post on divided cups in which it also lacked this sign of intelligence. The other 47 were uninformative, intended to stir up trouble without any experience at all to speak of. As far as talking up to my standards, less smarta** and a little bit more experience will take you a long way. This thread is the most obvious you've done yet to stir up trouble. You've actually done 3 posts in a row tryng to call me out, when you actually called yourself out by the post that was deleted. And now you've asked for me to delete you so you can run back to the other forum and tell them how I ran you off also. All you have to do is email Jerry and he will be more than glad (I bet) to expedite your request. It's becoming more and more obvious that you don't want to be a productive part of the TU community. In the Caney Creek plastic forum there was a well respected member that also hinted toward a yellowing problem with this great new super product, so it comes down to what everyone said in the beginning, it's personal preference and by the way I was not the first to respond to the yellowing question, so there again you've painted a bullseye on me. t-Billy and I did finish the conversation about the yellowing problem by PMing each other. I don't mind following the rules. I'll email Jerry also to make sure he knows of your request. And by the way I've noticed that the Soft Plastic Lure Swap thread has been deleted and guess who the last person to post was? At least you're consistent. At least 3 deleted posts in 9 months, maybe a new site record. Edited February 2, 2012 by carolinamike
