bassinmass Posted April 22, 2004 Report Share Posted April 22, 2004 Hey guys I've put a few spinnerbaits together before, but just from odds and ends that I've had laying around. I got my order in from Stamina and got to making a few baits last night. One a couple of them, the skirt doesn't "flare out", so to speak, the way I'd like it to. Do I have to use a skirt umbrella to make this happen? I like the way the Limber Legs and Terminator quick skirts flare out. Sometimes I can get a full-bodied skirt to do the same, but not like I'd like them to. Judging by the pics on the Club Gallery, you guys have this down pat! Any thoughts you'd like to share? Celticav Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 Different materials, number of strands per skirt, how short you trim the skirt all make a difference. I have tried the skirt umbrellas awhile back and can't say as I would recommend them, you may want to go with a living rubber skirt.
