VersatileFuturian
What size double barrel crimps will I need to use for .035 steel wire? Also, what if I have four .035 steel wires I need to crimp? I'm planning on making the Paycheck Baits Donkey Thrasher. It looks super easy to do and for the price of 1 I can make a bunch myself. Thanks
ROWINGADUBAY
check this site out has a good pic it looks like you only crimp two wires twice I am not sure what size crimps to use but I would imagine you would want crimps the same size of the wire or a little bigger http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Paycheck_Baits_Donkey_Thrasher/descpage-PBDTR.html

Thanks I'm thinking of doing the same, where are you getting the wire? I have local saltwater tackle shops where I can size up the crimps and let you know but not sure where to get the proper wire? gbass1951
Barlows also have a five wire similar rig with a 1/2 oz head unpainted. Call them the umbrella rig. But you need to bake them at about 200 degrees for 15 min. (not 350 for 20) after powder coating or they will split open. That learned the hard way.
