kmsnowman
I tried to epoxy coat some jig heads after powder paint and it does not seem to dry. To much epoxy?
Basseducer
Epoxy takes a long time to set up I let mine sit for 24 hours before handling the baits. If time isn't the issue take a look at your mixing ratio and your stirring thoroughness.

flippinfool
If you can't be exact.with split always favor a bit more hardner. 52-53% hardner and 48-47% resin.

Jig Man
If you have any kind of reading lamp, move it to the baits and turn it on let the heat from the bulb be on them for a while and it will prolly trigger the setup. I have done that with epoxy and even when fiberglassing in boats when I did not get it right.
mark poulson
I'm going with the mixing it more idea. When I don't mix it really well, I have a bad mix. I've learned to deal with the air bubbles that come from mixing, instead of under-mixing to avoid them. A hair dryer will soften the epoxy, and let the bubbles rise to the surface and break. It will also speed the setting.
