kmsnowman
Is there a way to reuse a brush I use with epoxy? If so what kind of brush do you recommend?
cadman
Yes, I do this all the time. Clean your brush in lacquer thinner. If you are using the cheap kids throw away plastic brushes, clean your brush in lacquer thinner, however do not leave brush in there. As soon as you clean the brush, take it out and let air dry. You will be able to use the same brush about 4-6 times before the bristles start to get fuzzy and deformed. At that time I throw it out and take a new one. RayburnGuy
I use a quality artists brush with natural hair bristles to apply epoxy on my crankbaits. I thoroughly clean it with denatured alcohol after each use. Have been using the same brush for over a year now. And like Cadman I don't leave the brush in the denatured alcohol. After cleaning I beat the bristles on the side of my bench and then allow it to air dry. Ben Edited February 27, 2012 by RayburnGuy

WidowMaker
If you are needing a wider brush you can get some of the little cheap craft brushes with the metal ferules and use a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the end of the ferule thus causing it to be flat This will widen and flatten the bristles by fanning them out which will allow for a much wider coverage of the epoxy.
