Painter1
I'm not sure I have ever seen a real Centipede, but I did Google them and saw a bunch of different colors. Just wondering if anyone here had a recipe that works to imitate the nasty-looking little buggers in your area.
Big Boy Baits
The centipedes down here (Georgia are usually a deep red to brown color. An oxblood or pumpkin color with red hi-lite would probably look great.
MonteSS
From what I remember as a kid, they were an amber color. Fish dont see it as a real centipede, and just see it as food. They dont care what color it is. I make mine in all colors but like Green Pumpfin, Watermellon, motor oil, and pumpkin. I use them on a Carolina Rig or Drop shot. ....Bill Edited March 6, 2012 by MonteSS
Painter1
Thanks for the replies, guys. I also use them on a mini-carolina or "mojo" rig with a spinning rod. I love the BT molds and Kevin just introduced a longer model. I hope to get a chance to pour some of these baits this evening.
