Seriously that is an impossible question to answer. Look at all the makes you can and buy what you like. LOL!!! Thanks Bob!!! I actually looked around last night and ordered the molds this morning... The molds should be on their way to my house shortly!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Cormorant Lures
Total I bought (5) 3.5" Caney Creak Croakers, (2) two cavity BT 6" Flappin' Hog molds, and (1) four cavity BT 702 Craw mold. If I make some good money at the up coming sport and rec shows, I will be investing in a bunch more!!!

SHK
there are no actual beaver molds on the market as the "beaver" is patented by Reaction Innovations my favourite has been Bears Kodiac as far as a similar type of bait. shoots like butter and makes a sick laminate. Cormorant Lures
what about using your blending block w/ the presto pots ?? for craws? what injector did you get ? My plan for the presto pot blending block is to cater to anyone who relys on hand-pouring for a majority of their bait making. I have always had a plan in place to get myself and injector down the road. I ended up buying a twinjector from Frank. Haven't had time to test drive it yet. there are no actual beaver molds on the market as the "beaver" is patented by Reaction Innovations my favourite has been Bears Kodiac as far as a similar type of bait. shoots like butter and makes a sick laminate. If I had the extra money I would buy all those Kodiak molds from the dude selling them on Bear's forum. If they are still available when I run into some cash, I am going to swipe them up. Cormorant Lures
So what is the most popular size Kodiak to start with 3.5" or the 4.25"?!? Is the original Kodiak better than the new Kodiak?!? I see there are physical differences between the two... Not to mention the new version is cheaper... I see there are physical differences between the two... Not to mention the new version is cheaper... well, Bear started with a guy cutting his molds, that guy designed the original Kodiac. Bear started machining his own molds a while ago and redesigned the Kodiac as he is eventually going to phase out the original hinged molds. i have had guys say they preferred the K2 (new) bait over the original (got a bunch of the baits sent to me by a friend to try) Go with at least the 4.25, if not the 5"
Cormorant Lures
Hahaha... Actually I used the wrong "term" up above... Let me switch the subject again one more time... I am being told that the actual bait I am looking to get close to, used to be made by Berkley called the Berkley "Beast"... Anyone make a mold that is close to the "BEAST"?!? MonteSS
You should consider the brand new one from Caney Creek. A little different than what everyone else is selling. It is also similar to the Ugly Otter that won this years Bass Masster Classic, so you know everyone will want it. http://www.caneycreekmolds.com/425-Flippin-Hog_p_303.html ....Bill
MonteSS
Ya, It has the option of splitting the tail down the middle so its two pieces. I think to be successful, you need some baits that are different. Even if it's one bait that is unique to your company and gets your name out. ...Bill Edited March 10, 2012 by MonteSS

I would happen to agree that a unique and/or custom bait will help to get my company heading in the right direction... Everytime I run into some cash, I re-invest it into my business... Started out with sticks, working my way into craws, hogs, and frogs... Soon on my list are beavers, craw trailers, jerk baits, and swim baits... CAN'T WAIT!!! Thanks again!!!
