nightsquirrel
allright been reading this forum for a copuple of weeks now and its inevitable,im gonna drop some dough. my question is the spike it plastisol is like half the price of most others and it seems nobody uses it; would it be good to start with or dont waste my money. Painter1
The truth is - if you want to save $$ do not get involved in this hobby. I won't ever use enough baits to recover my investment but it is a hobby for me and I expected to spend money. As far as choice of plastic - there are a TON of threads already in this forum. Just run a search and you will get all the points of view. These are some very helpful gentlemen, so hang around and read all about it. t-billy
I recently tried spike-it pourasol and was impressed. It's my new favorite plastic. Some microwave guys have had bubbling problems but,I use a presto or cast iron pouring pots and had NO bubbles. It pours and injects great. I like it better than MF or Chemionics. It pours like water making it great for hand pouring. Baits come out of the mold feeling almost cured. Not tacky or oily. It wiil settle out but,I don't mind. It only takes a few minutes to mix up before use. +The price is GREAT.
Largehead Louie
Spike-It Pourasol is ALL THAT I USE. Oh, did I mention, I microwave? I don't even own a Presto. I absolutely LOVE the stuff. If you are going to nuke, make sure to go slow, and bubbles are not a problem. JM2C
