Tree_Fish
My compressor started leaking air last night and since I lost the manual I have no idea about the working parts or what they are called so I'm going to post a pic and hope someone can help me out. There's a small hole on the bottom of the ?brass fitting? that I have circled in red and that is where the air is coming from. The hole looks like its supposed to be there, could something have popped out?
crzyjunyer
if its the overpressure safety valve the hole is supposed to be here - is there a lever/pull on it to let some pressure off? if so try pulling it for a sec and it may reseat itself - its hard to tell exactly where it is on the pic
jbaj007
Looks like the unloader valve. Could be it's not seated, but the most common cause is a bad check valve. This video really explains: Edited March 28, 2012 by jbaj007
