I have been to a few of the lakes around here and also going to a HOTSPOT for small mouth this weekend.

Hi Mercury, Your right, not much happening right now. Don't know about the rest of the country, but here in Michigan the weather is awfull, cold (frost tonight) seems like the only thing going on around here is the grass grows and the weeds keep coming and the sun only shines between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. I have this neat little boat that sits in my garage on the boat trailor and calls my name everytime I go out the back door. I'm going to have to get brave and jump into the winter underwear and go fishing.

As soon as I get cought up on my fly orders, grass cut, garden weeded and think of fishing I have to start all over again. I think what I need is a lawn service, someone to tie streamers and fill orders and pull the weeds, Then I can go fishing. Then in turn I can post something other then a complaning post like this. What-da-ya think Mercury? Ya want a job?

Its been nothing but rain here , and another week left they say . I have been getting cought up on some orders , I am not the quickest and am always behind !!! Lure sales are way down on ebay so I have a hundred or so I have made waiting for good weather to hit the local flee market .

I already have 2 jobs, getting my own up off the groound and my regular job.

Thanks for the offer though, But I dont think my fat fingers could tie more than a bucktail!

IT hasnt been raining that much, but as you said lawncare, housework, and 2 jobs leve me pretty well spent! Or were you wanting me to take out that pretty little boat and make sure it still does the job?? I might take you up on that one!

Your right Ken, I do talk about retirement, It's great!! IF I had a job now, I'd never have time to go to work..

I've heard about people saying, they were bored with retirement and needed a job. NOT HERE, no time to mess with a job.

It's like every thing else, I have to learn to let this other stuff lay, and go fishing.

Retirement is great, Gotta stop putting so much in a 24 hr day. I promise I'll stop complaining, really Now.. on with what I need to do.

Hi Merc. I'll get a picture of this little boat I have, and stick it in here. It's pretty neat. My nephew worked for this company in Grand Rapids Mi and I got it at his cost. It's not one of thos 30 foot jobs with the pearl paint and two 120 HP inboards that spook the fish. Actually I wasen't looking for a boat at the time, but I couldn't let it go at the price I paid for it. Heck, I paid more for the trailor.

Deadlystreamer, I don't think you are complaining. I am just trying to give you a hard time. I am retired also and can't seem to get anything done. Too many irons in the fire at one time. Here it is Mercury, Just big enough to enjoy some fishing on a nice lake. I don't think I'd take it out on Lake Michigan, although I've had some pretty big boats churn up some nice wakes and it rides them out pretty nice.

I don't have to worry about my Grand-kids wanting to water ski, Can't crank that electric motor fast enough.
