Jig Man
I have been reading all of your A rig posts. I have done some experimenting on my own and saw the post about the mold offered at fishingskirts. I think I'll buy it but I'm and old jig maker and don't know what to use to form the heads. Can someone tell me a product that will make a descent head in the mold and will I need a release agent? Sorry if I missed it mentioned in the threads. Thanks in advance. RayburnGuy
I've been using some polyester casting resin from Hobby Lobby that seems to be working pretty well. It's the stuff folks use to make clear paperweights and such out of. I have the mold your talking about and have not had to use a release agent when using the resin mentioned above. Musky Glenn
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder--- mine aren't that pretty but they work very nicely. I just twist wire and don't try to cover the twist with anything. Quick and easy and ugly. Musky Glenn
