deadlystreamer
What you need then is for someone to make a mold of the jig head you have, then make 100 or so jigs. right?

deadlystreamer
There ya have it gang. Any volunteers? jcdogfish, If you can't find anyone who has the time to help you out, It really isn't that hard to make a plaster mold and do it yourself. All you need is a small box, powder plaster of paris, water, and believe it or not, motor oil. Make one side at a time. Mix the plaster and pour it in the box and put oil on your jig and push the jig in the soft plaster leaving half of it exposed. Let it set up. When dried, lift jig out and cut a wedge in two sides of the mold. That half is finished. Now the other half. You can use plywood to make a small frame around the mold leaving an inch or two above the mold to hold the second half of the mold. again cover the jig with oil and the 1st half cover with oil, making sure you get the oil into the wedges you cut. (Oh I forgot, both half's need 1/2 pour hole for the lead going into the jig cavity.) If you keep the jig an inch from one side, you can add the hole in each half you make. Now mix the plaster and pour it on the first half with the jig inside. Let it set up. After it's dried, very carefully separate the two and there you are. A jig mold. Using a C-clamp, make your jig. You can always make 5 or 6 jigs and then make a new mold with that many cavities for a bigger run of bodies. Actually it's a fun thing to do and when you're finished, it's a great feeling of accomplishment . Good luck!
Big Splash
Is the jig head so unusual that none of us would have the mold? What size (weight) is the jig? What type of hook is used? I can make this type of mold, if the jig is not too small.
