anamealreadyinuse
I am going to use the following two molds to make me some frogs for the first time...I'm not seeing a tutorial about eyes though? Is there a method to pour different color plastic eyes here or even better an actual eye I can embed and then pour in the plastic and it bonds to the eyes? nova
Use eyes that you buy. Apply a small amount of clear plastic to each eye hole and before it sets insert the eye pressing slightly. (you don't want to displace all the plstic from the socket). Then all you do is pour the rest of the colored plastic filling the mold. Your eyes are now sealed into the bait. No need for dipping. www.novalures.com
anamealreadyinuse
Sounds good, thanks for the tip. Can I use any fish eyes I buy or is there a special type for softbaits? Where is the best quality for the $ to purchase in your opinion?
Smallie
Predator Bass Baits advertises on this site and sells good stick on 3D eyes for a reasonable price.
