Vedak
Hey guys, I was wondering if those yellow plastic speed bumps could be used for swimbait material? The reason I ask, is because my work place throws away a lot of broken ones (trucking industry), and I was thinking I could reuse them to sort of "recycle". This isn't really to save money, just figured the material would end up in a landfill. Polypropylen and Polyethylene are the materials it's made out of. Thanks
Sonny.Barile
Why dont you get a small piece and put some paint and clear coat on it to see if you have any adhesion issues before you invest in shapeing out a body.
crankpaint
you can us a router on it and get clean cuts, and but to cut it into workable peices might be hard to do as it would melt from heat of a table saw blade (might be able to cut it a little at a time) but it might just work?? if you can get a peice and try it go for it you might have a gold mine
mark poulson
Also check and see if it floats. If not, you're fighting a losing battle trying to make swimbaits out of it.
