J lure
It seems like almost a year ago there was talk about a injection machine coming from lure works, any recent news on that?
Basseducer
They have a video of one on their website, but no info on availability or cost.
Cormorant Lures
They have a video of one on their website, but no info on availability or cost. If I just watched the same video, I think the "green colored" machine you are talking about is meant for consumer use... It looks like a machine they plan on putting in stores so consumers can make there own affordable plastics... Just my 2cents...
SHK
when talking to a couple people about an injection machine from LW i got the impression it would be a more affordable scaled down version of a Zorn. there was talk of around a 10 - 15 thousand dollar price tag Edited May 29, 2012 by SHK
smallmouthaholic
That's the approxamate price Bruce Mcelroy from Lureworks has been stating
XFactorTackle
That machine looks like something that you'd see in 7-11 right next to the slurpee machine! I noticed at the end of the video where it says "4 Hours of making baits" and it shows the baits they made...that tells you basically what you need to know, it's not a high volume machine. Just look at the style of it, it's setup to fill one mold at a time, not a bunch of plastisol hot and ready to fill a bunch of molds. I'm with Cormorant, that machine will be in Bass Pro Shops or something for consumer use.
XFactorTackle
By the way, what kind of volume are doing J Lure? I was thinking about listing my Jacob's Baits machine.
