CedarLakeMusky
I have noticed that some line ties are horizontal and some are vertical on glide baits. Does this play a role in the action of the lure? Thanks, CLM
Grey Ghost
Great question. I have heard it said that a horizontal line tie lends itself to a more true left/right glide, less apt to the up/down jerkbait action. And the vertical line tie lends itself to a more erratic up/down + left/right action. That being said, I have gliders that do the opposite of what's said above. crankpaint
i found i get a better left/right action while swimming(straight retreive) on my gliders but when i use a twitch type retreive not much diff. in the two.i have some that walk two feet on a straight retreive and just turning the eye vertical it gos about a foot
