jajames16
Does anyone else have any issues with their baits sticking to the bags. I have put scent, worm oil, and a combination of both. Still seems to stick to the bags. Also, the worms seem to be soaking up the oil. Mick
mark poulson
I only pour for me, but I drop my plastics into a tupperware with salt straight out of the mold, and they don't stick.
XFactorTackle
We put scent in all the bags and spread it around, then put the baits in and the don't stick. Most baits only get 8 drops or so. Soft compounds will soak up scent, not sure if medium and hard plastics do or not.
Driftwood
cook your scent into the plastic and then add a few drops of worm oil to the bag. salt also warks well.
Richard Prager
Put your baits in a gallon zip lock with some scent. Shake, bag and get rid of them. Scent will always get absorbed into the plastic. Worked for me
Tree_Fish
My first two questions would be what mil bags are you using and are you curing your baits before putting them in bags?
Richard Prager
Just using the regular laminated worm bags for packaging. Usually cured the baits for 24 hours or so. I used M-F plastic so really can't speak much about the others. Sticks with salt I used very little scent as they will tend to swell. For my own use, I never bothered much with scent. I never saw a bass sitting at an Italian restaurant munching on garlic rolls. It's really for the customer in my opinion. Put a shoe string on a hook and you'll catch fish!
