jburns1510
What is best for clear coats? I was thinking about automotive clear coat but i don't know how it yellows or durability. I know D2T works good but i don't want to have to wait a week before i use my baits. A guy on another forum mentioned Sally Hasen Hard as Nails. Does anyone have any experience with this? mark poulson
I use the Sally Hansen polish, but I am only making baits for myself.

Richard Prager
I use the hard as nails for the knots on hand tied skirts. If you use D2T for the clear coat on the lead, you should be able to use them within 24 hours or less.

You can also use e-tex which goes on clearer.
BassBull
Good guestion with a lot of differant ways to do something. I use Devcon 2T on all my lures and it is about as good as it gets. If you use it you will have to have a turner that rotates at about 7 to 9 revilutions (spelling?) per min. The mixture will run on you. They are easy to make, just look up in the history section about this subject. Good luck STEVE
