Saugerman
Do any of you own the Caney Creek Swim Shad molds, in the 3.5 or 4.5 inch size? Just wanted to no if they are a good bait for catching largemouth bass. They really look different than most swimbaits.I have read where they have been very successful for red fish and specks. I just wanted to here from some one who owns the mold.
toadfrog
Got them all . I have to say they are a pleasure to fish and make . Watermelon / red flake white belly will do ya on most species including walleye .
DaBehr
I have both...the 4.5" is bigger than the one extra inch in length suggests! I would call the 3.5 a smallmouth- walleye bait and the 4.5 the largemouth bait. The laminate plate really makes for a really nice looking bait...that far exceeded my expectations of what I thought I could make!
