Kris
Looking to add some glitter to my clear coat. I've noticed that the sizes range from 0.008 and up. Don't want anything so big it takes away from the paint job but not so small you can't see the glitter. Was wondering what size people have had good results with? Thanks. Grey Ghost
Go with the smallest available. After applying the top coat, if any flakes are popping out, use a razor blade to cut them flush to the surface. The apply a second topcoat. I am new to glitter but have really "practiced" through trial and error.
pat28
Bigger glitter flakes are effective to catch fish, but they stick out of the final coat of varnish and affect the swimming action of the bait. I use tow to three coats of airspray glitter (very fine) now. Pat
Big Bass Man
I use the small and medium glitter flakes. Both work great!!
