Source For Feathered Hooks?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the help with the final coating on the trout bombs. the Devcon 2 ton is fantastic. Now I've figured out how to powder paint with two colors. I'm pleased with the results so far. I'd like to get a more distinct line between the two colors. I tried to hold a piece of tinfoil over the bait while tapping on the pink, not so good. Also, I'd like to find a source for already tied, decently priced, feather tied trebles and singles. Anybody has a lead, please let me know. Mark

Mark, I hate to tell you this but dressed trebles are expensive no matter where you go, and if you find them in packs of 5 or more jump on them as most only come 1 or 2 to a pack. The other altenative if to invest a few bucks and get a cheap fly vise and the trebles of your choice along with some feathers and make your own. It doesn't sound cost effective now but if you plan on making more of these and you have a need for the dressed trebles on a regular basis it may very well be a big money saver down the road and you can always make them for others because a lot of lures come with those now and anglers are always going to need them.
