baitntackle
I just finished a swimbait mold out of durham's water putty. First, how long does it take before the molds are dry enough to remove the smaple baits? Second, After I remove the sample baits from the mold and sand on it alittle, How do I need to finish it? Do I need a thin coat of epoxy on it before I start pouring hot plastic into it? Thanks for your help!! Rob

Tree_Fish
Make sure it's dry before you coat it. I usually stick it in the oven at a low temp (175-200) until I can put my hand on the mold and dont feel any moisture. If you do a search there was a post by vodkaman that had some really good info in it about drying times, I'd post the link but I'm at work right now and dont have time to look for it.
