Netcraft Tack-l Tool Vs Boggs

Recommended Posts

One thing on the Tackle tool is you're not going to get really small eyes like the boggs!! I'll post some of the stuff I can make on the Tackle tool, that I havn't seen made on the boggs - I think I also have an instruction sheet on the boggs at home and what it can make.

I'll post more later

Here's some of the spinners Look at the size of the eye, the one on the left is a Rooster tail and the one on the right my copy cat

You can also make spring coils for old style spinners

If you look in the bottom pic in the middle you'll see a wire coiled above the bottom , You push the spring up put a hook or fly whater you want and then squeeze the wires back together and pull the spring down.

Why do you need small eyes? Fish doesn't care!

I am using dikes and file for cutting remains of lead and TWISTECH WIRE FORMER.

Working great!

Posting the differences between what the Netcraft one will do. I've posted my spinners on other boards and have had the question "Is there a way to get a smaller eye". I always try and post as much info as I can and let the person make their final decision.

I've taken to using roundnose plier to make smaller eyes on my 1/32nd spinners as I don't like the big eye from the Janns former, and the Worth hand former is kinda dangerous to your fingers!!
