crankbaits Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 I have two bamboo poles that belonged to my grandfather.They are in fair shape and I would like to preserve them .I would also like to know about them,one says Crown,made in Japan and is 5pcs,the other says Grampus& co. inc Tokyo Japan. toadfrog Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 The best thing I can think of for the poles is to get a couple of long tubes like maps or posters go in to store them . Go to any hardware store and pick up some stuff called Tung oil . Coat the poles and let them air dry Keeping them straight . Then store them . That is what I do to store hard wood arrow shafts .
