barrysbaits
I came across this old kit in a yard sale. its a berkley power rattle. the front half is solid and the removable tail is soft plastic. My question is, does anybody know if a mold for the tail wold even exist?
llokkii
You know I came across this same bait the other day and wondered the same thing. I know this post is an older post but I bet A person could email Berkley and ask if the tail is still available. One the other hand, one could look at it as an opportunity to make a new master that is technically different than the original and make plastic tails for it. That said, I'm reasonably sure that changing the shape or thickness of the tail portion will affect the action of the bait. Maybe some other guys could give you more insight on that. mark poulson
I'm sure you could make a hard bait body, with hooks, and attach a center wire hitch hiker, like the one's Owner makes, to it for attaching a soft plastic tail. I do that to attach plastic worms as tails for my hard body rats.
