Husky
What do you do when you get this message? "Sorry, you have reached your maximum Upload Quota Limit of 1 MB" TIA
siebler_custom_baits
you gotta resize the photo into a smaller one on paint or a photot editing program.
RiverMan
Husky, I don't remember seeing that message.....generally tho the problem comes from the image being too large. If you have microsoft imaging or photoshop open it up and pull open the pic. Resize the pic to meet the site requirements....I think it's 600 pixels wide. If you aren't sure how to do this you can send the pic to me and I will do it for you. Jed tossmealine@yahoo.com
deadlystreamer
If you have Microsoft Digital imaging or photoshop or any of the other many photo programs, look for the resize option and make your pictures 320 wide by 240 high. That is the ideal size to put a picture on the board with. Good luck
redg8r
[Moved from "Hard baits" to "the Docks"] Hi Husky, Each new member is given a megabyte of image storage space here. You reach your limit, likely due to the 8 photographs you put in a topic titled "polyurethane". you might wanna go back & cull some of those photos to get your space back. If members are posting to show off thier latest creation, I usually recommend they add it to the Gallery instead. the upload capacity is greater there & members can still comment on your baits. I usually increase members upload quota, if their images are necessary in the forum & they make efforts to scale them down before uploading. if you need more space, contact me & I'll see what I can do for ya. Thanks, Jerry "redg8r"
Husky
Thanx Jerry, It sounds like a good policy. It's just that I didn't know about it. I guess that explains why many of the older post I've researched have X where the pictures are supposed to be.
