bass105
Help me make a kit for pouring senkos and magnum trick worms.also I currently have nothing so help me get together a list of items I need to do this. I want to pour them with sinking plastic so I will not have to use a ton of salt and It will allow me to have better colors. Now there are plenty of molds from senkos but I have seen only one for a magnum trick worm clone. Are they any others? What cavity size molds do I need. I see 4 cavity molds but not any bigger. Would I mix up a small batch to just pour 4 worms or what is the process for that if I wanted to make 50 worms in a certain color and size? As for colors im interested In solid colors like watermelon (red, candy, magic) green pumpkin (red, candy magic) , black, red, junebug. I want to do laminates like red shad and pbj. MonteSS
Go injection to start. Dont waste your time with handpours. Get a Basstackle twinjector so you can do single colors and laminates. I never tried the sinking plastic. I just add powdered Bears salt and softener. Bears makes a 7.5" and 10.5" trick/finese worm mold. With a single 4 cavity injection mold you can probably make about 50 baits in an hour. ...Bill Edited October 2, 2012 by MonteSS
Frank
I would just go with Basstackle for all the molds and the Twinjector. His trick worms are called treat worms. Has has alot of stick molds so make sure you get the ones you want. I would start out with the 3oz Twinjector because it is way easier to start out with. I have some videos in the tutorial section that will help you out with the basics and a few more on youtube for other uses. The plastic I am guessing you are getting from MF(because they are the ones that have sinking plastic). They have a great selection of colors and glitter too. Another company is Spike it they have a vast array of colors and way more sizes of glitter probably because they make there own. There colors are among the strongest out there and have a good value even if you want a small amount. I hope this is what you wanted and not an actual list. If you want a list i think you have a good start just from your post. You could get this done from just 2 suppliers but remember shipping from Basstackle is free if the order is over $70 but I dont think you will have a problem with that.
