Mayberry_Customs
I recently bought this lure at a flea market because i always read about the famous old balsa squre bill's with the brass line ties...i have tried to find some information on the value and what it is exactly, but i cannot find much. I think it is a wedge lip and to my understanding they were only made for one year. I think it is genuine. I know its balsa, and has brass line tie and hook hangers, also says bagley on the lip. I have attached some pictures for you guys to take a look at, maybe you can tell me a little more and what it might be worth??

littleriver
Joe's old lures message board is a great place to get info on vintage tackle. Just post a picture of the bait and your question. That old wedge bill is sure catch a few bagley collector's eye. Who knows; you may even get an offer or two for it. Joe's is where vintage tackle from across the country meets collectors from across the country. http://www.joesoldlures.com/wwwboard/
nova
I sold a killer B on ebay about 15 years ago. It was new in a box and it went for $30. www.novalures.com
Skeeter
I don't know what you paid for the bait, but it is a nice looking lure. Years about 9 yrs. ago those baits were red hot on ebay. I saw some of them go for close to $100. Folks were chasing these baits because they thought that the brass wire made the lures "hunt" (a shifting side to side motion) while being retrieved. Rick Clunn coined the phrase after winning a tournament on a B3 long ago. I would check ebay to see what they are going for now days. If they are still getting alot of money for them I would sell it. If not I would fish it. They are nice lures when they are put together right. Skeeter
