kevyak
Do they make chrome powder paint? I interested in finding out how to put a chrome finish on diamond jigs. I guess I could use milar tape (shiney auto tape), but would prefer them chrome if it is not too much trouble. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. clemmy
This probally not what you wanted to hear, but one of the best/easiest is a clear powder coat immediately after pouring to preserve the lead's shine...Pro-tec does make a silver, but i don't think that's what you are looking for. Another possibility is powder coat silver glitter... Somewhat related question, who's found an ok gold? best i've been able to do is gold transparent over the shiny lead...any other ideas on these metallics? Wire bender
I know they make it but not sure that I'd use it. I bought a new Mixmaster mixer for my Bride. The person on the phone told me that at one time she had worked in the factory where they added the chrome powder. When we got the mixer it was "chrome" but not a with a bright shine to it. In my opion it dull. So if all chrome powders are like this I'd go to the tape. Phil
