bass105
Im getting ready to do my first hand pour, what do I need to buy? I already know what I need to make the mold. My first mold is going to be a trick worm like bait. Im buying colors and glitter.Who makes the best colors and glitter? 1 gallon of soft plastic. A pyrex cup or 2. Im putting it in a old microwave. i already have a temp gun. I want my baits to be soft. Now do I need to buy some kind of mold release agent? what about worm oil? I dont want any scent in it. Also where do you guys buy/use for your fine and coarse salt?Is there anything else I need on my shopping List?

finesse1331
As for the best place to buy stuff is a matter of opinion, I buy stuff from Bears Baits and Lurecraft. As for plastic I use Lurecraft plastic, but again everyone has there favorite brand. This is an addicting hobby to get into but I believe it will save you money if you make your own baits, and if you ever sell any to friends,co workers you can make a little extra cash. You can do a search on this site for pretty much any question you have.
